Holy Schnitzel Opens New Location in Times Square
New York’s Theater District is welcoming Holy Schnitzel, a hand-breaded schnitzel chain, which has opened a new delivery and pickup location just steps from Times Square. This move takes over the space previously occupied by the now-closed Cattle smokehouse.
A New Home in a Busy Ghost Kitchen Hub
Holy Schnitzel operates out of a shared commercial kitchen, “Picnic,” which hosts over 30 different food businesses. There are no dine-in options, as the establishment focuses purely on online orders that are either picked up or delivered. This is the only kosher operation within the entire facility, making it a unique option for visitors in the bustling Theater District.
What’s on the Menu
Holy Schnitzel’s menu is centered around its famous hand-breaded schnitzel sandwiches, alongside burgers, wraps, and salads featuring an array of house-made sauces. Regular customers can expect their familiar favorites, including the Tony Special and the Holy Toasty, all prepared for delivery.

The Times Square ghost kitchen marks Holy Schnitzel’s second location in Manhattan, adding to their growing presence across New York, New Jersey, and Florida. Here’s a list of their locations:

The End of Cattle’s Run in the Theater District
Cattle, which offered a Glatt Kosher smokehouse experience, served up heartier options for kosher diners in the area but has now closed its doors. Holy Schnitzel steps in as the new sole kosher kitchen, maintaining a kosher option for food delivery in the area.
