Maine Astronaut Jessica Meir Completes Second Tour aboard International Space Station

Maine astronaut Jessica Meir has successfully concluded her second mission on the International Space Station (ISS).

Since her arrival in February, Meir participated in four spacewalks and celebrated a significant milestone of 400 days in space.

Meir, alongside her crew members—Jack Hathaway (NASA), Sophie Adenot (European Space Agency), and Andrey Fedyaev (Roscosmos)—departed the ISS on Wednesday morning in a SpaceX Dragon capsule.

The crew is set to re-enter the atmosphere on Thursday, with a planned splashdown in the Pacific Ocean, off the California coast.
