Birdman Discusses the Upcoming Rich Gang Album, Young Thug, and Cash Money’s Emerging Talent

Birdman is taking his label, Cash Money, in an exciting new direction. In a recent interview with XXL, he discussed the future of the label amidst the ongoing lawsuit with Lil Wayne and addressed rumors about Young Thug and Rich Homie Quan’s involvement in the upcoming Rich Gang project.

With the announcement of a new Rich Gang album, fans are curious if it can replicate the success of the previous projects, which featured hits like “Tapout.” Birdman revealed that he’s been cultivating a new group of about 15 artists, including singer Jacquees and rapper Ralo, with London On Da Track handling production. He confirmed that Thug and Quan will be part of the new album, citing their collaborative spirit and their significant influence on the new talent he’s signing.

Birdman emphasized that working with Thug and Quan reignited his passion for music and inspired him to foster fresh faces in the industry. He expressed excitement about these emerging talents and the new vibe they bring.
