G7 Reaches Agreement to Alleviate Global Energy Supply Issues

The Group of Seven (G7) countries, led by French President Emmanuel Macron, announced an agreement to release 100 million barrels of diesel and crude oil to address global energy supply concerns. This decision comes with backing from President Donald Trump, who stated the U.S. would refrain from implementing a diesel export ban. The announcement followed a video conference aimed at coordinating responses to rising fuel prices among G7 nations, including the U.K., Canada, Germany, Italy, Japan, and the U.S.
