Coffee Club Introduces Fresh, Fruity Spring Drink Selection

April brings the warmth of spring to Princeton, accompanied by blooming cherry blossoms and the eagerly awaited new drink menu at Coffee Club. This year, four refreshing beverages have been introduced: two espresso-based, one matcha, and one iced tea option. Below is a review of the 2026 Coffee Club Spring Menu.

Paradise Palmer

The first of two peach-flavored creations, Paradise Palmer is the sole non-coffee or matcha selection on the spring drink list. This refreshing twist on the classic Arnold Palmer—combining lemonade and iced tea—is enhanced with peach syrup. Initially, I was concerned that the peach flavor might get lost amid the drink’s lightness, but it proved to be a delightful surprise. The base drink is reminiscent of Arizona brand tea, balancing sweetness and flavor beautifully. The added peach elevates the overall taste, adding a layer of complexity to this sweet refresher. This drink evokes a sense of relaxation, perfect for lounging on Cannon Green with friends.

PB&B Latte

This latte quickly became a favorite of mine, combining the classic flavors of peanut butter and banana into a drink that echoes the beloved PB&B sandwich. In previous seasonal reviews, warm and sweet lattes have always captured my preference, such as last fall’s banana bread option, Slippery Slope. As I sipped this new latte, the aroma of peanut butter was intoxicating, and I feared it might overwhelm the banana and coffee elements. To my delight, the flavors melded harmoniously, creating a soothing drink perfect for brisk spring days. The peanut butter’s saltiness complemented the banana’s sweetness and the rich coffee base beautifully. For an ideal experience, I suggest enjoying it hot, with the milk foam topping adding an extra touch that evokes childhood lunches.

Peachy Matcha

The combination of fruit and matcha creates an irresistible pairing. The earthy notes of matcha beautifully complement the lighter, tangy flavors of fruit. This rendition might be my new favorite fruit and matcha duo. It reminded me of strawberry matcha but is lighter and more invigorating—ideal for those muggy, rainy spring afternoons. I believe this drink shines best when served iced, showcasing the freshness of the peach.

Coconut Cloud

Sparkling coffee drinks often inspire a divide in opinion—people either love them or despise them. The classic variety, espresso tonic, tends to attract criticism for emphasizing the coffee’s bitterness rather than achieving a balanced flavor. In contrast, this drink opts for sparkling water, a more neutral base, combined with coconut syrup. I found this pairing delightful; it struck the right balance—neither too sweet nor overly bitter like an espresso tonic. The coconut flavor, reminiscent of beach days and floral notes, takes center stage, transporting me to a tropical paradise, whether on the shores of Hawaii or New Jersey. Even if you’re typically not a fan of sparkling coffee, this drink is worth a try.
