9 Stylish Yet Functional Winter Outfit Inspirations I’ve Included in My Moodboard

December has arrived and so have the lowered temperatures. As someone who works in fashion, this change in weather has, of course, got me thinking about the outfits I want to wear this winter. I have to admit, I’m guilty of prioritising practicality whenever it’s cold outside, wanting nothing more than to bundle up underneath a simple fleece or puffer coat. And whilst there’s definitely nothing wrong with this, for winter 2025, I want all of my outfits to be equal parts practical and elegant.

In order to be well prepared, I’ve already started saving the chic and refined looks that I’ve spotted on my favourite Instagram influencers. And they have me actually looking forward to the cold weather. For winter 2025 specifically, chic dressers, from Paris to Norway, are focusing on creating looks that still feel elevated, but put cosiness and comfort at the forefront. Think classic wool coats styled with chunky ‘cool-girl’ boots or slouchy double-denim co-ords worn with sleek pointed flats. It’s all about looking cool and stylish whilst still feeling cosy and warm.
