Apple reveals its biggest manufacturing investment in the US, partnering with Broadcom.

Apple has committed to a $30 billion contract with Broadcom as part of its American Manufacturing Program (AMP), through which the company plans to invest a total of $600 billion in the U.S. over four years. This deal will help Broadcom expand its Colorado facility, leading to the production of over 15 billion made-in-the-USA chips, supporting many American jobs.

Apple views this partnership as crucial for delivering high-performance components, and CEO Tim Cook emphasized the company’s pride in boosting investments in U.S. suppliers. The new agreement marks their largest AMP commitment to date and includes significant capital expenditures to modernize Broadcom’s manufacturing capabilities.
