Latino Expo Resource Fair Returns This Weekend at a New Venue

The Indiana Latino Expo Resource Fair is returning this weekend, offering a blend of entertainment alongside vital legal, medical, and educational resources. After canceling last year due to political concerns, organizers have taken steps to enhance safety and security, especially in light of recent ICE activities in Indiana.

Chair Charles Garcia noted that the venue has shifted to the State Fairgrounds and Event Center to mitigate fears and enhance security. The fair, now in its 14th year, is designed to foster connections between Latino and Indiana cultures through practical support and entertainment.

Garcia emphasized that the resource fair is open to the entire Indiana community, not just Latinos, and features bilingual literature to encourage participation. The fair will take place Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., with free admission.
