AiPrise, a leading compliance and risk intelligence platform, has unveiled Website Agent 2.0. This upgraded website review tool is designed to automate risk assessment for compliance and risk teams.

The latest version does more than just extract data; it also evaluates the trustworthiness of the claims presented on a website. Each assessment yields one of three results—Approve, Review, or Reject—along with a clear explanation for each signal analyzed. This tool is particularly useful for compliance professionals tasked with verifying the credibility and accuracy of a business’s online presence.

Website Agent 2.0 introduces three fundamental features. The first is a Risk Intelligence Layer that integrates analysis of a website’s intent, cross-referencing external trust signals, detecting fraud patterns, and applying industry-specific reasoning. Rather than solely relying on a website as a source of truth, the agent incorporates various indicators such as online reputation, domain history, and social media presence to verify a business’s claims. It also identifies patterns that may indicate fraudulent activities, including unrealistic pricing, use of template content, and lack of company information.

The second component is a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)-based Policy Engine. This feature allows teams to establish their own lists of prohibited and high-risk industries, enabling the automatic vetting of websites against these criteria to minimize time spent on straightforward evaluations. The third capability, Related Entity Intelligence, reveals other domains that share infrastructure with the site being reviewed, including shared templates, copied content, reverse image matches, hosting patterns, and certificates. This helps compliance teams identify networks of interconnected domains instead of evaluating each site separately.

AiPrise positions this tool as especially relevant for FinTech and cryptocurrency industries, where fraud can be cleverly structured to evade basic checks through scam storefronts, counterfeit financial products, or a network of seemingly independent domains.

The company claims that, as a result, businesses can onboard legitimate merchants more swiftly while simultaneously strengthening their defenses against fraudulent activities. For analysts, the tool is designed to cut down the review time from several minutes to mere seconds for straightforward evaluations, thereby allowing more resources to be allocated to cases that necessitate human judgment.

AiPrise frames Website Agent 2.0 as part of a broader transition in compliance from manual analysis to automated reasoning—an evolution intended to assist analysts rather than replace them.
