The area around FC Dallas’s Toyota Stadium is undergoing a significant transformation with plans for a billion-dollar entertainment district. This new development will include various amenities such as restaurants, a hotel, and a mini soccer pitch, aiming to enhance the fan experience.
Dan Hunt, the President of FC Dallas, announced that his family’s company, Hunt Sports Development, is collaborating with Peak Curated Development and Venu Holding Corporation on this project. The goal is to encourage fans to spend more time at the venue, turning quick visits into full-day experiences.
The new additions will be situated on the east side of the stadium and the soccer center, featuring a nine-story hotel with almost 300 rooms and 40,000 square feet of convention space, along with about one million square feet of premium office space. This announcement follows a $215 million renovation of Toyota Stadium, expected to be completed by spring 2028.
Clark Hunt, FC Dallas’s Chairman and CEO, referenced his father’s legacy, highlighting the vision of creating a vibrant community around the stadium. Groundbreaking for the entertainment district is anticipated to start next year.
