Kids Ride Free on the South Shore Line!
‘Tis the season for free rides! From Friday, December 19, to Friday, January 2, the South Shore Line (SSL) is excited to extend its Kids Ride Free program to all trains and times. This holiday season, families can enjoy creating memories together while riding at no cost.
Key Details:
- Who: Up to three children aged 13 and under
- When: December 19 – January 2
- Where: Any train—weekends, holidays, off-peak, or rush hour
- Accompanied by: A parent or guardian
- Note: The quiet car rule is in effect on the last car of rush hour trains.
The SSL will operate under a holiday schedule on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Eve.
