Pursuit Aerospace, based in Manchester, has acquired Creasey Castings, a specialist in sandcasting high-precision magnesium and aluminum components. This acquisition, closed in August, is Pursuit’s sixth since 2023 and enhances its casting capabilities, particularly critical given the current constraints in magnesium sandcasting within the aerospace sector.
Adjacent to Pursuit’s existing foundry in southern England, the acquisition aims to bolster production capacity. Additionally, in September, Pursuit began expanding its aerospace casting operations in Tunisia, which will add significant space and increase employment to over 1,000 people.
Pursuit was formed in 2023 from the merger of Whitcraft Group and Paradigm Precision and focuses on manufacturing components for both commercial and military aircraft engines. It operates under the ownership of private equity firms Greenbriar and CD&R.
