FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) – The Fargo Moorhead Science Museum has received a significant boost for its regional science museum project, thanks to Bobcat Company’s $1 million commitment. This multiyear pledge represents the first major corporate investment and has helped raise total funding to over $7.5 million.
Previously, a generous $5 million gift came from Aldevron co-founder John Ballantyne, along with contributions from individual and corporate donors. Bobcat will also collaborate on designing an interactive exhibit that showcases the integration of science, engineering, and manufacturing in compact equipment design.
While the fundraising, site development, and exhibit design are still ongoing, museum organizers are actively offering free hands-on STEMM outreach programs at local libraries, parks, and community events.
