Chat Ads – Ben’s Bites

Welcome to our newsletter designed for the tech enthusiasts. Here you’ll find the latest updates, tool reviews, and insights from an excited founder turned investor, always eager to explore new innovations.

Hello everyone,

ChatGPT is set to introduce advertisements. This will roll out in a few weeks, starting in the U.S., and will affect only free users and those on the Go plan ($8/month). Here are the key points: ads will appear at the bottom of ChatGPT responses, but they won’t influence the content of the replies, and no personal conversation data will be shared with advertisers. Additionally, OpenAI has announced its 2025 revenue projections: $20 billion, which is more than three times the $6 billion forecasted for 2024. To put things in perspective, Meta’s revenue exceeded $180 billion, and Google made around $295 billion just from ads in 2025. While OpenAI remains relatively small, there’s significant room for expansion.

Claude Cowork is now accessible to Pro users (those on the $20/month plan). You can download the desktop app to take it for a spin.
