Nashville Resident Charged with Pretending to Be Veterinarian After Pet Owners Raise Concerns

Authorities in Tennessee arrested a man, Prashant Pandya, for impersonating a veterinarian at the Caudle Veterinary Clinic after several pet owners reported adverse outcomes under his care. The investigation, which began in September, revealed that Pandya had never been licensed to practice veterinary medicine in the state, failing the required examinations.

Despite this, he presented himself as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, wearing a white coat labeled “Dr. P.F. Pandya DVM.” His arrest on a felony charge comes after at least seven complaints from pet owners between August 2025 and September 2026. A search warrant was executed at the clinic, with additional charges expected as the investigation progresses.
