29 Animals Travel to Phoenix as Arizona Shelter Recovers from Flooding

The Arizona Humane Society has taken in 29 pets from a flood-affected shelter in eastern Arizona, responding to the needs of the Humane Society of the White Mountains in Lakeside, which is currently recovering from significant flood damage. To accommodate these new arrivals, the Arizona Humane Society is offering 50% off adoption fees for all pets from Friday to Sunday. The rescued animals are marked with a “White Mountain Flood Rescue” logo and can be viewed on their website. Dr. Steven Hansen, President and CEO, emphasized the organization’s commitment to helping communities in crisis and giving these animals a chance for loving homes.
