New Pet Grooming Business Opens in Boardman, Ohio
BOARDMAN, Ohio (WKBN) — A new pet grooming business has launched in Boardman, now operating as Blue Ribbon Pet Spaw LLC at 1122 Western Reserve Road. The new owners include Christine Stacy, who is keen on honoring her family’s legacy.
Christine’s family previously owned Blue Ribbon Motors, which closed in July. Inspired by her husband’s suggestion to continue the legacy in a new way, Stacy decided to open a pet grooming service—reflecting their shared passion for animals.
After discovering that the former owners’ lease was ending, Christine felt it was the right time to act. “We love animals; my parents loved animals,” she said. The name Blue Ribbon Pet Spaw was available for them to use, which she saw as a sign to proceed.
The new business caters to both dogs and cats, with a focus on building personal relationships with customers. Additionally, as a veteran-owned establishment, they will be offering discounts to veterans and first responders through November.
