Fireshine Games has recently acquired the indie studio Fair Games, known for the game Necesse. This acquisition includes an initial advance of $4 million, with potential additional payments of up to $2 million based on new content releases. If Fair Games meets specific targets, they may also receive 10-20% of net revenue.
Fair Games maintains its creative independence, continuing under the leadership of its founder, Mads Skovgaard. The studio aims to expand Necesse, a multiplayer sandbox game that has sold 2.5 million copies since its Early Access debut in December 2019 and full release in October 2025. It has grossed $14.4 million to date.
Fireshine Games is a subsidiary of Enad Global 7.
