In the latest episode of The Celebrity Traitors, Richard E Grant was eliminated after receiving the most votes from other contestants, including his fellow traitors, Maya Jama and James Acaster. Grant humorously referred to himself as “an unfaithful traitor” while announcing his exit.
Hannah Fry took Grant’s place as the third traitor, after Jama and Acaster opted to recruit her instead of immediately eliminating anyone. Fry expressed excitement about joining the traitors and took to the challenge with enthusiasm.
During a challenge, the contestants successfully earned £6,000, boosting the total prize pot to £26,000. As the game unfolded, suspicion grew among players, with Myha’la receiving the most votes and ultimately being banished. In her farewell, she cautioned the faithfuls about underestimating the intelligence of the traitors.
The episode concluded on a cliffhanger, with Fry, Jama, and Acaster deliberating over potential victims for the next elimination. This season has garnered significant attention, being the most-watched debut of any series in the UK. The competition, hosted by Claudia Winkleman, involves 21 celebrities vying for a £100,000 prize for charity while trying to identify the traitors among them.
