The upcoming third annual Louisiana Economic & Energy Security Summit, organized by the American Council for Capital Formation, will feature two key aides to Oklahoma U.S. Senator Alan Armstrong. Although Senator Armstrong himself will not speak, his Director of External Affairs and Strategic Partnerships, Christine Harbin, and Deputy Communications Director Miranda Dabney will be present at the event in New Orleans on October 15 and 16.
The summit aims to address essential topics such as the requirements for major projects, energy demand, manufacturing, and supply chain security, all pivotal to enhancing American economic strength. The gathering will bring together policymakers, industry leaders, investors, and researchers to discuss strategies for boosting U.S. competitiveness in a rapidly changing global economy.
Christine Harbin, who joined Armstrong’s team in April, has a rich background in energy and trade policy. Before this role, she worked with Senator Bill Cassidy as a Senior Policy Advisor and held significant positions in the Trump Administration, including at the U.S. Department of Energy and the Export-Import Bank of the United States.
Miranda Dabney, who now serves as Deputy Communications Director, has extensive experience in communications, having previously held roles in the U.S. House of Representatives.
