Homer Pet of the Week: Steve
Published: 4:30 am Thursday, October 8, 2026
Meet Steve, an 11-year-old male cat who’s one of the most affectionate companions you could ask for. He loves to spend time with you and will serenade you with his blues if he’s feeling a bit under-petted.
Steve is part of The Golden Paws program, and he’s patiently waiting for his furever home. He is FHV-1 positive, which simply means he can either be your only cat or live with others who share the same diagnosis. Importantly, it’s not contagious to other animals or humans.
Please consider opening your heart and home to this gorgeous guy—he promises to repay you with endless love!
