Fox Entertainment Global at Mipcom: A Diverse Slate of Shows
Fox Entertainment Global is heading to Mipcom with a unique range of programming. Prentiss Fraser, president of the company, emphasizes the integration of creators and microdramas in their international distribution strategy. The focus is on establishing third-party distribution deals for content produced by outside creators.
Fraser notes that Mipcom has evolved significantly over the past 15 years, highlighting plans such as a creator cocktail event and partnerships with major entities like NBC and Lionsgate. The aim is to enhance the scale of creator-made content through platforms like YouTube and TikTok via Fox Creator Studios, led by Billy Parks.
Among the featured projects is “Read the Room,” a sketch comedy series by Canadian creator Josh Richards. The company also plans to explore the vertical media marketplace, having established deals to produce 200 microdramas over two years.
One key project is “The Christie Brinkley Story,” a three-part documentary series featuring the supermodel’s life. The current business landscape encourages creative and entrepreneurial approaches, a space where Fox Global thrives after its relaunch in 2022. Fraser is optimistic about the future, expressing confidence in her dynamic sales team.
