Chet Hanks reignited his feud with Eric André at ComplexCon, confronting the comedian in a heated exchange captured on video. While André appeared friendly at first and extended a handshake, Hanks refused to reciprocate, leading to escalating tensions as they both shouted at each other until security intervened.
Following the altercation, Hanks took to Instagram to mock André, referencing earlier comments made by the comedian about Hanks allegedly being “emotionally disturbed” after a chaotic appearance on André’s show. Chet claimed that André had forgotten trashing him in the media, emphasizing the incident related to cultural sensitivities regarding his Jamaican accent.
The back-and-forth continued online, with André dismissing Hanks’ claims and playfully challenging him to a DNA test to prove their familial connection. This ongoing rivalry, characterized by humorous jabs and serious accusations, reflects a compelling dynamic between the two as they navigate the complexities of fame and personal grievances in the public eye.
