Announcement: Evan Roa Appointed to Travel North Tahoe Nevada Board

Incline Village, Nev. – Travel North Tahoe Nevada (TNTNV) has welcomed Evan Roa, co-owner of Tunnel Creek Café and Incline Bak’d, to its Board of Directors. With over 20 years of culinary experience on the North Shore, Roa is dedicated to advocating for local businesses and the workforce that supports Incline Village.

Culinary Journey

Roa’s extensive background includes roles at Martis Camp, Brewforia, and Big Water Grille before taking ownership. Tunnel Creek Café, located on the historic grounds of Ponderosa Ranch, has been a beloved destination for locals and tourists since 2012.

“Food is how I’ve been able to give back to the community that welcomed me,” Roa expressed. “Cooking and feeding the people you love connects our community, and I want to bring that energy to TNTNV.”

Community Involvement

Beyond his restaurants, Roa is an active community member, partnering with TNTNV for events like Tahoe’s Twilight Theater, which hosts free outdoor movie nights, and organizing Saturday night music and community dinners. His commitment to using food as a means of connection is a significant reason for his appointment to the Board.

“Evan has spent decades serving the community and showing up for his neighbors,” said Andy Chapman, President and CEO of TNTNV. “His understanding of small business operations and community needs makes him an ideal fit for our board.”

Board Representation

Roa joins as an At-Large Director, representing the diverse voices of North Lake Tahoe Nevada’s businesses and community. To learn more about TNTNV’s Board of Directors and their initiatives, visit here.
