Nolan North, the voice of Nathan Drake from the Uncharted series, has expressed his eagerness to return for a potential Uncharted 5, coinciding with reports that a new title in the franchise may be in development at Naughty Dog. Although Sony hasn’t officially confirmed any new projects, Naughty Dog has hinted at multiple games being in progress.
North remains hopeful about the success of a new Uncharted installment, stating, “It would be one of the biggest games ever if they decided to do it.” He emphasized the importance of not replicating the disappointment of films like Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.
While Intergalactic: Heretic Prophet is believed to be the next game on Naughty Dog’s slate, fans are still eager for new entries in The Last of Us and Uncharted series. North, who has kept himself in shape for a potential return, reminisced fondly about his decade-long role with the series, stating, “I can’t see a scenario that I would say no.”
Whether a new Uncharted game featuring Nathan Drake or his daughter, Cassie, comes to fruition remains to be seen, but the anticipation is palpable among fans.
