Kylie Jenner’s ‘Bachelorette Weekend’ Show Greenlit by Hulu (Exclusive)

Kylie Jenner Set to Star in “Bachelorette Weekend” on Hulu

Kylie Jenner, renowned for her social media presence and as a reality star, is stepping into the world of acting and production. She will headline and executive produce “Bachelorette Weekend” (working title), a thriller drama that has secured a straight-to-series order with Hulu, as reported by Deadline.

This project marks Jenner’s first significant role, following in the footsteps of her older sister, Kim Kardashian, who has successfully transitioned into acting and producing. Kardashian is also an executive producer for the series, alongside Jenner and author-turned-screenwriter Lauren Oliver.

Plot Overview

In “Bachelorette Weekend,” things take a dark turn during what should be a celebratory weekend when the bride (played by Jenner) is found murdered in the pool, making her closest friends the primary suspects. Jenner’s character is described as the “North Star” of the series, unraveling the events that led up to the shocking murder.

Production Team

This thriller is a collaboration of Kapital Entertainment, led by Aaron Kaplan, and 20th Television, with Jaiden Kaplan co-executive producing. The series is based on an unpublished book by Flora Collins and is adapted by Oliver’s IP packaging company, StoryGiants.

Backing and Development

Kim Kardashian, who received the script for production, recognized its potential for Jenner and saw it as an ideal starring vehicle for her sister. The show was pitched to Hulu under Kardashian’s first-look deal with 20th Television, leading to its preemptive purchase by the Disney streaming service.

Jenner’s Rising Starring Role

Before this role, Jenner hinted at her interest in acting through a cameo in Charli XCX’s A24 project, “The Moment.” She’s also a prominent figure in the family reality series “The Kardashians,” which will premiere its eighth season on October 8.

More from the Kardashian-Jenner Clan

Besides “Bachelorette Weekend,” Kim Kardashian is actively involved in multiple projects, including her own scripted series, “All’s Fair,” and the Netflix film “The Fifth Wheel.” Both she and Jenner are represented by WME, while Oliver is with Verve.

As Kapital Entertainment continues to expand its slate, “Bachelorette Weekend” joins a roster of promising content for Hulu, including projects with stars like Nina Dobrev and Kerry Washington.

With this new series, Jenner is poised to make a notable impact in the entertainment industry, following a path carved by her sister, Kim.
