Missouri’s only certified kosher deli has reopened its doors, much to the delight of local patrons. Nate’s Kosher Deli kicked off its operations with a new take-out menu on Monday, February 2, at its new location in Clayton, situated at 7923 Forsyth Blvd. Customers began arriving shortly after the 10:30 a.m. opening, eager to explore the offerings.
Earlier in 2025, Nate’s briefly resided in the former Kohn Kosher Deli space in Creve Coeur. The new location signifies an exciting new chapter, reintroducing kosher-certified dining options to the community.
Orders can be placed via phone or WhatsApp at 557-231-9507. The menu boasts an array of choices, including burgers, chicken bites, sandwiches, wraps, and salads, all certified kosher by the Vaad Hoeir of St. Louis.
On opening day, a standout dish was the popular “bullseye” schnitzel sandwich, featuring a toasted baguette stuffed with crunchy beef bacon, caramelized onions, creamy avocado, crispy lettuce, and a sweet yet spicy sesame sauce.
Edward Pernik, a customer, enthusiastically shared, “We needed a kosher deli. It’s very good for the Jewish community.”
Nate’s is open Monday through Thursday from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Fridays from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

With its reopening, Nate’s Kosher Deli is set to play a vital role in the local food scene, catering to the dietary needs of the community. This beloved establishment promises to deliver delicious kosher meals that can be enjoyed in a modern setting.
Be sure to stop by and savor the delightful offerings at Nate’s, where each bite pays homage to tradition while embracing innovation.
