The UAE’s General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) also commended Captain Machchhar and his crew for their decisive actions during an emergency situation involving flydubai flight FZ1073. The GCAA noted the importance of readiness and cooperation in managing exceptional emergencies. It confirmed that Captain Machchhar is safe, receiving medical care, and in good condition.
