Gypsy Rose Blanchard’s partner, Ken Urker, tragically passed away on his 34th birthday. In a statement to TMZ, Blanchard expressed her deep sorrow, referring to him as her soulmate and highlighting his role as a loving father.
Urker died from an overdose at his home in Louisiana, according to Blanchard. She shared concerns about his mental state and the impact of “relentless cyberbullying” on social media.
The couple welcomed their daughter, Aurora, in December 2024. Blanchard has vowed to ensure Aurora knows the truth about her father’s love and character, despite public scrutiny.
Blanchard and Urker first connected as prison pen pals while she served an eight-year sentence for her involvement in her mother’s death. Their relationship had its ups and downs, including a broken engagement, but they rekindled their romance after Blanchard’s divorce from Ryan Scott Anderson.
Blanchard gained notoriety due to her highly publicized murder trial and the complex abuse she suffered from her mother, leading to adaptations like the documentary “Mommy Dead and Dearest” and the series “The Act.”
