Celebrity Race Across The World is back with an exciting lineup, featuring media personalities Princess and Junior Andre, singers Ella Eyre and Sam Ryder, along with broadcaster Jeff Stelling. In this thrilling competition, four pairs will challenge themselves by giving up their smartphones and other luxuries to reach the finish line without flying.
The teams include Princess and Junior Andre, the children of singer Peter Andre and former glamour model Katie Price; Ella Eyre with her childhood friend Nana; Jeff Stelling with his son Matt; and Sam Ryder paired with his tour manager Kaz Coles. The adventure kicks off in Kuching, Malaysia, and the duos will navigate through five checkpoints across three countries and two continents, ultimately aiming for Melbourne, Australia.
Equipped only with a physical map and a strict budget of £26 per person, the contestants will have to employ local transport, resourcefulness, and assistance from strangers to make their journey. Tim Harcourt of Studio Lambert emphasizes the unique nature of the experiences contestants face, promising a mix of demanding and joyful moments.
The series is set to air in autumn, following the success of previous seasons where contestants traversed diverse routes worldwide. While Celebrity Race Across The World gears up for its debut, the regular edition will return to BBC One and iPlayer next spring.
