LA28 Olympic Torch to Tour All 50 States
The Olympic torch will embark on a historic journey through all 50 states of the U.S. for the first time ahead of the 2028 Summer Olympic Games set to take place in Los Angeles.
Kickoff in Atlanta, Georgia
The tour will begin in Atlanta, the city that hosted the 1996 Olympics. Mayor Andre Dickens highlighted the significance of Atlanta as the only East Coast city to have hosted the Summer Games, noting that the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics helped shape Atlanta’s successful hosting.
Details Still to Come
The specific route and city stops for the torch relay will be announced next year.
