A Celebration of Lucha Libre, Fashion, and Community
Grapevine, Texas — Celebra Grapevine 2026: Passport to Culture is a landmark one-day festival taking place on Sunday, October 4, 2026, at the Grapevine Convention Center from 2:00-8:00 p.m. This event promises to be part cultural showcase, part spectacle, and part block party, featuring lucha libre wrestling, a runway fashion show, a surprise flashmob performance, and a marketplace filled with local vendors and performers—all in celebration of the diverse cultures that enrich the Metroplex.
Organizers describe this festival as a unique experience combining the athletic drama of lucha libre, the artistry of a live runway, and an inclusive flashmob that invites the crowd to participate. As noted by the organizers, it’s not just about observing culture; it’s about immersing yourself in it and truly experiencing it.
Produced by Development Culture LLC and Dev Culture, Inc., the festival reflects the region’s growing enthusiasm for cultural events that transcend traditional formats and stages.
“This isn’t just something you watch; it’s something you take part in,” explained Yvette Lopez, Founder of Dev Culture, Inc. / Latinos in Grapevine. “When we dance together, share meals, and learn the stories behind each other’s traditions, real connections are formed. Passport to Culture is designed for that: sharing, learning, growing, and connecting—all in one room, on one day.”
