Dakota Johnson Shines at the UK Premiere of Verity

Someone who never disappoints on a red carpet? Dakota Johnson. Her latest look for the UK premiere of Verity is certainly among her best. The actress, who stars alongside Anne Hathaway and Josh Hartnett in the film adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s best-selling novel, opted for an elegantly simple yet stunningly constructed sheer lace dress by the emerging designer Colleen Allen.

Styled by Kate Young, Johnson’s choice was a gorgeous ivory French lace piece from Allen’s F/W 26 collection. Known for her daring fashion sense, she confidently wore the dress without the skin-tone panties featured in the lookbook, instead opting for a striking black silk bra-and-panty set by Fleur du Mal, creating a bold contrast to the ivory lace.
