Latest GeForce Now Updates
Nvidia has rolled out fresh updates for GeForce Now, introducing support for Googlebooks—a new category of laptops that combine the best features of ChromeOS and Android. Alongside this, nine new games have been added to the platform, and players have a limited time to take advantage of a special offer on Control Resonant.
Googlebooks and GeForce Now
Recently, several brands have showcased their Googlebook models, including Acer’s 2-in-1 OLED variant touted as the “first convertible Googlebook.” These laptops feature the Titan C security chip and are powered by the new Googlebook OS. Pre-orders for Googlebooks began on September 21, with devices expected to ship on October 4, starting at $899. Nvidia’s support for GeForce Now is anticipated to align with this release, allowing users to access a cloud gaming library powered by GeForce RTX without needing local installations.
Highlights from This Week’s Update
While Nvidia hasn’t disclosed specific dates for the GeForce Now support for Googlebooks, it is expected soon after the devices are launched. Nvidia’s recent promotional content highlights the ability to stream games directly from this new device class.
Control Resonant Bundle Offer
In addition to the Googlebook announcements, Nvidia is currently running a limited-time offer. New subscribers can receive Control Resonant for free when they purchase a 12-month GeForce Now Ultimate membership. This promotion is available until September 27, making it essential for interested players to act quickly, as the game typically retails for $59.99 USD / £49.99 GBP.
