Woman and her pet saved from Stark County blaze

A woman was rescued from a house fire in Canal Fulton-Lawrence Township, Ohio, on Wednesday afternoon. The fire occurred in the 500 block of Streby St, where crews found an attached garage ablaze with flames spreading to the home. Firefighters employed a ground ladder to rescue the woman from a flat porch roof and also managed to save the family’s pet. The cause of the fire is still under investigation, and the Red Cross is assisting three adults, one child, and three pets affected by the incident.
