Charlotte Roots

Trujillo, known by her stage name “The Goddess,” attributes much of her artistic inspiration to her over two decades spent in Charlotte. She highlights the influence of the city’s diverse communities and experiences on her work.

“I’ve been blessed to learn a lot about different generations, different cultures, different ways of being in this lifetime through the people I’ve met,” she reflects.

Musical Journey

Her journey began with sound healing, using frequencies and mantras to help others find liberation. Trujillo describes:

“I was literally in a space of holding space for other people sonically so they can meditate… and balance their body.”

Recent Achievements

After relocating to Las Vegas, she flourished artistically, earning nominations in two categories at the Las Vegas Black Music Awards. Her winning track “Mr. Godbody” draws from personal experiences, embodying elements of storytelling and musicality.

“It was spring and I was sitting out with a good friend… later I had a whole download of information and that form just came from my spirit,” she shares.

In Vegas, she embraced a vibrant artistic scene by participating in open mic nights and community events.

Broader Mission

Trujillo aims not only to entertain but to educate and inspire:

“I want to tell stories that remind people of what love really looks like… When we stand in our gifts… we inspire others.”

This year, she also earned the title of Miss Bharat Worldwide 2026, where she plans to advocate for mental health awareness and community service.

Future Aspirations

With her venture BRYCELY, Trujillo aspires to create cultural experiences that foster connection and understanding.

“Whatever I am being blessed to experience, I want to share… to remind people of how powerful they are in choosing their art forms,” she concludes.

Brandi Trujillo stands out not just for her musical talents, but also for her commitment to advocacy and community, making her a remarkable figure in both the arts and social circles.
