Investigation into Hayden Panettiere’s Death Finds Drugs in Her Possession: Report | Entertainment

Hayden Panettiere was found deceased in her South Carolina apartment on August 16, with blue pills testing positive for fentanyl discovered nearby, according to an investigative report. Unidentified white powder was also found in her suitcase, but it hasn’t been tested.

Panettiere, 36, died from the combined effects of fentanyl, Alprazolam, and other substances, with no signs of trauma noted, leading to her death being ruled accidental. During the hours before her death, a friend noted she was seen applying makeup at 10:30 a.m. but was later found unresponsive. Efforts to revive her with Narcan were unsuccessful.

Just days before her 37th birthday, Hayden had been planning to visit her daughter in Ukraine. The report also highlighted her recent stay in a rehabilitation facility, with indications that she struggled with substance use.
