By: Jackson County Animal Services
Age: Woody is a 2-year-old male Plott hound mix.
Personality: Dashing, athletic, spirited, bright, charismatic, and lively.
Highlights:
Woody is approaching his one-year anniversary at the shelter, and kennel life has been challenging for this exuberant boy. He’s a resident parkour expert who can be quite rambunctious when he’s excited, but once he calms down, Woody is a smart and well-behaved dog. He knows the command “place” and enjoys learning new tricks.
Woody is a polite gentleman during bath time and car rides, truly one of the most handsome boys in the shelter. He can be selective with his dog friends, so meet-and-greets with potential canine housemates are recommended.
Adoption Fees: Waived due to being at the shelter for over 100 days.
Availability:
Woody is available at the Jackson County Animal Shelter, located at 5595 S. Pacific Hwy., Phoenix.
Hours:
- Tuesday-Friday: 11 AM – 4 PM
- Saturday-Sunday: 12 PM – 4 PM
Please note that licensing fees apply. Walk-ins are welcome, and no appointment is needed.
