Dolly Parton’s estate receives temporary restraining order against singer’s nephew | Entertainment

A Tennessee judge has issued a temporary restraining order against Bryan Seaver, the nephew of the late singer Dolly Parton, and his security firm, Squadron Augmented Protection Services (SAPS). The order was granted following a complaint from Parton’s estate, She’s Alive, which accused Seaver of making threats that could harm Parton’s legacy and business.

The court found the communications from Seaver concerning, particularly due to his claimed access to weapons and intentions of retaliation. The restraining order prohibits Seaver and SAPS from entering any She’s Alive properties or coming within 1,000 feet of its employees or business partners.

A hearing is set for October 7. She’s Alive, managed by Danny Nozell, stated they terminated their relationship with Seaver due to his “terrorizing conduct.” Complaints detail a series of increasingly threatening messages from Seaver, including statements that he would damage Parton’s brand and claiming to be an “international arms dealer.” His threats have reportedly caused disruptions within the organization, including resignations and the need for added security.

Parton, a legendary country music icon, passed away last month, leaving behind a rich legacy of songs and an extensive fan base.
