TV Adaptation of Board Game ‘Celebrity Sequence’ Game Show in Development

Cleve Keller and Dave Noll, known for creating popular formats like Chopped and America Says, are launching a new game show called Celebrity Sequence. This upcoming series, developed with Goliath and Perfect Game, adapts Goliath’s hit board game Sequence into a lively competition featuring celebrity assists and a substantial $100,000 endgame.

In Celebrity Sequence, teams will engage with a large game board, making selections and answering polling questions with help from celebrities. The format promises a mix of strategy, instinct, and entertainment, culminating in a chance for one team to proceed to the Ultimate Sequence round.

Noll describes the show as a blend of Match Game and Family Feud, aiming to honor the beloved elements of the board game while transforming it into an exciting televised format.

Goliath has previously collaborated with Keller/Noll on Shark Bite, still in development. The partnership with Perfect Game, which holds exclusive global media rights for Goliath games, sought Keller/Noll to enhance this new format.

Sequence, first launched over 40 years ago, has sold over 50 million units across more than 100 countries and features various editions, including Sequence Junior and Jumbo Sequence.
