The annual American Century Championship golf tournament will continue at its current location, Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course, through 2030. This event features a variety of professional athletes and entertainers, and has been held in South Lake Tahoe since its inception in 1990.
Notable past champions include Mardy Fish, who won in 2026, and Stephen Curry, who took the title in 2023. The tournament is scheduled to take place on the weekend of July 7-11, 2027. Stateline, Nevada, where the course is located, is home to several casino resorts, enhancing the event’s appeal. The last non-athlete to win was actor Jack Wagner in 2011.
