The Rams showcased a strong performance on Monday night against the Giants, contrasting sharply with their earlier loss to the 49ers in Australia. Coach Sean McVay attributed the defeat in Week 1 to his poor travel decisions, notably arriving just a day before the game, which left the team unprepared.
McVay acknowledged his role in the team’s performance, stating, “Sometimes you win, sometimes you learn and sometimes you have a dumbass coach that makes travel plans that puts you in bad spots.” The Rams’ late arrival was aimed at minimizing adaptation to the time difference, while the 49ers had arrived a week early and acclimated well, resulting in a 27-7 victory over the Rams.
In contrast, the Rams were well-prepared for their game in Los Angeles, achieving a convincing 28-6 win against the Giants.
