The Turf, originally known as the Turf Hotel, is historically significant as the founding place of Wrexham AFC in 1864 and has been prominently featured in the hit docuseries “Welcome to Wrexham.” The deal aims to integrate The Turf with the club and stadium under unified ownership, ensuring the preservation of its rich heritage.
