Aaron Glenn, despite being “highly upset” about the Jets’ 20-17 overtime loss to the Packers, appreciates how his team has started games strong. He highlighted their success in dictating the game’s pace and sticking to their keys for victory.
In their Week 1 win over the Titans, the Jets led throughout, scoring first and winning 23-10. Against the Packers, they shot back quickly after falling behind, taking a 10-point lead with crucial touchdowns. Glenn emphasized the team’s need to finish games stronger, acknowledging that they played well until late in the fourth quarter.
Defensively, the Jets have been effective from the start, not allowing the Packers a first down until the end of the first quarter and forcing multiple punts against the Titans. Safety Dane Belton noted their practice emphasis on starting fast, underscoring their objective to control the game early on. The team is looking to build on these early-game successes as the season progresses.
