Date & Time: Saturday, Sept. 26, and Sunday, Sept. 27, from noon to 7 p.m.
Indianapolis Animal Care Services (IACS) is waiving adoption fees for all dogs and cats during its special weekend event. This initiative aims to connect pets with families, providing them a loving home while making space for other animals in need.
Current Animal Population:

Quote from IACS Director Amanda Dehoney-Hinkle:
“Home means something different to everyone, but for the animals in our care, it means having a family and a place to belong. We hope people will visit us during Home Is Calling, spend some time getting to know them, and discover that the companion their home has been missing has been waiting here for them.”
Details:
- Regular Adoption Fee: $60 (waived during the event)
- All pets will be spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped before adoption.
- Families can view adoptable dogs until 6:30 p.m. on both days.
