A specialty pet supply store, Dog Krazy, is set to open its tenth location in Chantilly, marking its first store in Fairfax County this fall. Founded in 2006 by Nancy Guinn, the new store will be located at 13932 Route 50 in Sully Plaza and cover 2,400 square feet. It will provide a range of products for dogs and cats, including food, supplies, self-service dog washes, and grooming services.
Local franchise owners Doug and Deb Kaspar expressed excitement about introducing Dog Krazy to the Chantilly community. The couple discovered the store after adopting a puppy from the Old Dominion Humane Society (ODHS). Their positive experience at Dog Krazy led them to pursue franchising.
Guinn emphasizes that Dog Krazy’s approach focuses on knowledgeable and personalized customer service, ensuring a welcoming environment for pet owners. The store prioritizes selling only products that they trust for their pets, a principle that remains central to their operations.
In addition to Dog Krazy, several other businesses are poised to open in or near Sully Plaza, including Big Frog Custom Tees and a Wonder food hall. A restaurant called Neat High Fidelity Indian Lounge is also expected in the area.
