Meet Jet: A Resilient Cat in Search of a Forever Home
Nine lives? Jet definitely has all that — and more. This gorgeous jet-black cat has a dash of white under his chin, as if an angel kissed him there. However, the real angels are the dedicated volunteers at Ahimsa Haven Animal Rescue.
When Jet arrived at the shelter last spring, he was wary of humans and found the world overwhelming. With time, love, and the company of other friendly cats, he has blossomed. Volunteers report that he’s learned to enjoy attention and now rolls over to show just how comfortable and confident he has become.
Despite facing challenges, including an injured tail that led to an amputation, Jet has adapted remarkably well and even sports what volunteers affectionately call his “cute little bum.” He gets along wonderfully with other cats but may not be the best fit for families with young children or dogs.
Thanks to the generosity of kind souls, Jet’s adoption fee has been sponsored. If you’re interested in giving this lovely cat a forever home, you can learn more at Ahimsahaven.org.
