Morgan Freeman Selected as Guest Picker for Ole Miss on ‘College GameDay’

Morgan Freeman is set to be ESPN’s next “celebrity guest picker” on “College GameDay,” coinciding with the Ole Miss vs. LSU football game. He announced this appearance on “The Pat McAfee Show.” Freeman, an Ole Miss alum, expressed excitement about the game, partly due to his relationship with an Ole Miss professor. This will be the show’s third appearance in Oxford, with the last one in 2021 featuring Katy Perry. Currently, Freeman stars in “Lioness” on Paramount+ and last appeared in the film “Now You See Me: Now You Don’t” in 2025. “College GameDay” will air live this Saturday at 9am ET on ESPN.
