Announcement of the Energy Impact Fund (EIF)
Today, we are excited to announce the launch of a $10 million Energy Impact Fund (EIF) aimed at fostering energy innovation and enhancing affordability in Nevada.
As part of this initiative, we are committing $5 million to the Nevada Clean Energy Fund (NCEF). This funding will assist families within our data center communities in lowering their utility bills while improving home health and safety.
Supporting the Residential Energy Upgrade Program (RE-UP)
These funds will support NCEF’s Residential Energy Upgrade Program (RE-UP), which provides free weatherization and energy efficiency improvements to households facing financial barriers but who do not qualify for existing assistance programs.
Community Benefits
Our investments across data center communities in both North and South Nevada aim to:
- Reduce monthly energy bills
- Enhance public health
- Improve grid resiliency
All of this will come at no cost to Nevada’s residents. We are proud to partner with NCEF and are eager to announce our next grant later this year.
