Wizard Wellness is celebrating a successful first year, highlighted by a $1 million funding round with contributions from Pave Health Ventures, Vanquish Equity, True Beauty Ventures, and Barrier Island Capital. Founded by Lorne Lucree in January, the allergy care brand has successfully launched its products in over 4,000 Target, Walmart, and CVS Pharmacy locations across the U.S.
The brand’s first marketing campaign, “Happy Nose Club,” features actress Elisa Donovan, known for her role in Clueless. Lucree emphasized the need for thoughtful design in allergy care, aiming to make it appealing rather than merely a necessity.
Wizard Wellness offers various products, including scented nasal sprays, nasal sticks for congestion, a sinus rinse, and probiotic strips, all ranging in price from $14.99 to $32.99 for individual items. The company aims to establish itself firmly in the growing wellness market, which has seen significant mergers and acquisitions recently.
Investors have expressed confidence in Wizard’s potential, citing Lucree’s innovative approach and understanding of consumer needs.
